Honestly, people, I remember when I could get dozens of comments only minutes after I uploaded a deviation, regardless of its quality. Has Deviantart completely abandoned the art of appreciating the work of others and showing support to artists? It seems the community has lowered itself to selfishly thumbing crappy fan art of anime we all should have stopped watching in middle school, and simple comments or favorites are just too much to ask for. Why bother submitting your hard work on here if hardly any attention is given to it at all? I go to the trouble of viewing the work of anyone who comments on my work, favoriting what I like in their gallery, commenting on what I really like, and sometimes going into their favorites in hopes of finding other artists to add to my short watch list. I feel like Deviantart is wasting a huge amount of my life, minutes at a time.
